Supporting community groups
Whether it's cup cakes or dresses, Maurice Blackburn staff
members are always keen to support a community event.
Staff in our Maroochydore office recently took advantage of
raising funds for the RSPCA on Cup Cake Day by not only baking
yummy treats, but bringing their dogs to work!
And in Brisbane, the firm's Women's Law Section supported a
Dress for Success cocktail party at Customs House that was attended
by more than 100 women.
Maurice Blackburn's women lawyers donated thousands of dollars
worth of women's work wear, shoes and accessories for the
international not-for-profit organisation that assists
disadvantaged women to find and keep jobs.
Firm Principal Terri Butler said the firm was proud to support a
great cause.
"We had an amazing response and enjoyed a fantastic night of
networking and sharing our good quality work clothes, in the name
of a wonderful organisation," she said.
