Andrew McKenzie is a Principal at Maurice Blackburn and the
Manager of the Caboolture office.
Andrew was admitted to practice in 1997. Having worked in
law firms for close to 20 years, Andrew has extensive experience in
all areas of law and has appeared in just about every court and
tribunal in Queensland. Prior to joining Maurice Blackburn,
Andrew was a partner for eight years with the largest law firm on
the Sunshine Coast. He worked with that firm for 12
years.
Andrew joined Maurice Blackburn in 2009 and has thrived on the
collegiate approach to social justice where he now chairs the
Corporate Social Responsibility practice for Queensland. He
is also on the Risk Management Committee.
In 2003 Andrew was instrumental in changes to policy regarding
the correct protocol for using Inflatable Rescue boats on behalf of
Surf Lifesavers.
Andrew has spent 10 years donating time to the Sunshine Coast
Community Legal Service. He is also a member of the
Australian Lawyers Alliance.
