Andrew Weinmann is an Associate in the Superannuation and
Insurance department at Maurice Blackburn.
Andrew has extensive experience as a litigator including
experience acting for seriously and permanently injured people. He
has conducted proceedings in a number of tribunals and courts
including the Supreme Courts of Victoria and South Australia, the
County Court, the Federal Court, the Magistrates Court of Victoria,
VCAT and the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal.
He represented the family of Larry Knight and the Australian
Workers Union in the six week coroner's inquest into the death of
Beaconsfield miner Larry Knight following the Beaconsfield Mine
Collapse.
Andrew was admitted to practice in 2002. Prior to joining
Maurice Blackburn in 2006, he was employed at a leading injuries
lititgation firm in Adelaide.
