Azmeena Hussain is a lawyer practicing exclusively in the
WorkCover department of our Dandenong office.
Azmeena acts for clients who have suffered an injury, illness or
disease arising out of, or in the course of their employment.
Azmeena is committed to achieving the best possible results for
injured workers and is passionate about ensuring that every worker
has access to their entitlements.
Azmeena is a Director of the Muslim Legal Network, and a member
of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Victorian Women's Lawyers,
the Australian Lawyers' Alliance, the Australian Multicultural
Foundation, the US Consulate Benjamin Franklin Group and Maurice
Blackburn's Women's
Law Section.
Azmeena has volunteered at a number of organisations including
the Fitzroy Legal Service and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
She has a strong passion for access to justice for the most
marginalised in our community and she is an active member of many
culturally and linguistically diverse community groups.
