Denis Mead is a Consultant with Maurice Blackburn Commercial. He
has extensive expertise in providing legal advice to superannuation
funds and managed investment schemes and he has spent eight years
as Head of Legal & Compliance Asia/Pacific for a global company
that provides HR and related financial advice, products and
services.
Denis has worked at the executive and director level in relation
to all aspects of the investment and superannuation industries. He
has been involved in all aspects of the investment and
superannuation industries and has undertaken the role of director,
advisor and committee member in relation to some of Australia's
largest financial services participants.
Denis has more than 10 years experience as a member of a Board
of Directors of a large organisation in the financial services
industry. In this role he gained significant experience in
governance structures and the operations of Boards. This experience
makes Denis one of Australia's most experienced financial services
directors.
In addition, Denis has sat on audit, risk management and
compliance committees for in excess of 10 years and has actively
been involved in advising trustees and product issuers in the
financial services industry for over 30 years.
