Julie Duce works primarily from our Canberra office and
regularly visits our Sydney office.
Julie specialises in contested estates matters under the Family
Provision and Succession Acts, both in ACT and NSW jurisdictions as
well as in the areas of probate, estate administration and
commercial litigation.
Julie has extensive experience in a variety of estate issues and as
a qualified mediator endeavours to provide to her clients
alternative dispute resolution options.
Julie has litigated a wide range of matters in a number of
courts including the District Court, Magistrates Court, and Supreme
Court, ACT and NSW, as well as the ACT Civil and Administrative
Tribunal. Julie also works in our public interest practice
and is currently running discrimination claims on behalf of two
disadvantaged communities.
She is a member of the ACT Law Society and associate member of
the NSW Law Society and has delivered corporate seminars in the
areas of estate and retirement planning.
